Why Instagram is good for your business - infographic

Following last week’s post “Instagram for the Small Business” I thought I would share this great infographic from Gold Coast Design Studio ( It is an excellent example of how Instagram to use for businesses. The goal is to create engagement and start a conversation with your followers. You can’t add links back to your website with each picture you share, and this is why people feel more inclined to like or even comment on the images.

As you can see on the infographic, there are good examples to promote your products (Crown Brush Australia @crownbrushaustralia,) Engage with your followers (Keds @keds), Competitions and Giveaways (Priceline Australia @pricelineau), Behind the scene pictures (kikki.K @kikkik_loves) and proper use of Hashtags (Starbucks Coffee @starbucks.)

Most of the examples are from Australia, as the creators Hold Coast Design Studio. So you don’t get the impression that only Australian businesses are doing good things on Instagram, I selected additional examples below from other parts of the world.
